The logical choice

When any problem arises in our daily life, God knows there is always a solution, maybe even more than one. For example there is always the easy way out for the lazy and the cowards; like cheating on a test to get a passing grade, or breaking up with someone over the phone or email just to make the job easier.

Friends don’t let friends drink and dial

A good friend is always there for us. Good friends prevent us from doing things we might regret later on in life, or even so, they might encourage us to do those very same stupid things, but then be there to pick up the pieces they knew they would have to since the beginning. Either way, we consider ourselves good friends too right? We are the ones who stop our friends when they’re half drunk about to dial their ex, or send that nasty email to their boss, or even go to the extreme of bitchslapping them in the face when they are down and depressed about something stupid.

Where’s the romance

Remember the Shakespearian times? When love used to be more than words, more than feelings, even more than marriage itself? What ever happened to those days?

…Juliet, when we made love you used to cry, you said “I love you like the stars above, I’m gonna love you ’till I die”

I told you so.

A recent conversation with an old flame reminded me of many voices telling me that I would hear those very words some day.

This girl, and old flame, a story that ended before it even started (like many others in my life), decided to chat with me, after almost 7 years of our last encounter. Your last first kiss

I stand here in the core of the night believing how great it is to touch your face. How seeing your eyes so close to mine and thinking they’re looking back at me, just me.

Loving you was ever so easy; I must accept I didn’t put much effort into it. Not loving that smile would be like not loving to have a lungful of air.

The nice guy stereotype… How good of a label is it? Many people (women) would agree that “nice guys” get less girlfriends, but more friends that are girls, which is not necessarily a bad thing, there’s nothing wrong with being nice. The problem starts when you become so nice to everyone that you forget to be nice to yourself, after that you create a typecast label that sticks to you and will follow you around for the rest of your life, and it can get weary sometimes.

The hero of my story is myself

The greatest story never told came about to an end in the silence of the night before. With daring power, heavens clouded up the light beyond its path, and no one was there to see it. Without ink, the pages of his book turned out to be blank all this time, with no trace left behind. A glimpse of what was never meant to be, faded out in the outlook of his eyes. The fear he most feared got tested and true.
