Saturday morning and I had to wake up early for a breakfast date. That’s ok; Friday wasn’t that crazy so I wasn’t tired. After a morning that felt longer than just hours I was talking to my friend about random stuff, and out of the blue she discovered my most natural flaws.

Forgive and… forget? 1

I’ve heard this phrase since I was a child. I was always taught to forgive and forget, but can you ever really do that?

Many times I heard “Yes I can forgive you for what you did but I don’t think I could ever forget it”. How about the other way around with the “I can try to forget what she did to me but I’ll never ever forgive her”. I’ve been present in both occasions, not necessarily told at me but to other people, true story. Are they not supposed to go hand by hand?

the act or faculty of apprehending by means of the senses; cognition; understanding.

In psychology, perception is presented as the process of awareness and understanding through the senses. To my understanding, perception goes far way beyond reality, it builds its own.
