Don’t say a word

…unless you’re pretty sure you want it analyzed.

That’s how it is sometimes; we try and find the hidden meanings behind people’s words and acts. Trying to pretend we manage to figure out the veiled intentions behind them and believing we’re clever, because we cracked their word puzzles.

Most of the times we’re wrong anyways, it’s a matter of perception. We see what we want to see in order to make peace with our own little world. Just like this Doctor that says to a woman “The hardest thing to say to a mother is that her son will never walk again.” He tells her that although he never actually says it, so that could give the mother a false sense of hope. But you never know, maybe miracles can happen, maybe our prayers get answered; maybe what we actually analyzed is more than our mere wish of wanting it to be true. Maybe, just maybe, I need to keep going…

Then again, I was never good at reading signs.
